Casting: The Supporting Roles

Philip Smith (Me) AS CAPRIVI

We have decided to cast myself in the role of Caprivi, Davidson and Yung's superior during the events at Trafalgar Square. I am an experienced thespian, having performed in a number of large scale Drama Studio productions at Therfield School, and believe that my voice is one of my strongest qualities on stage, something which will suit the character of Caprivi very well, despite his brief appearance.

James Richardson AS JIM

Having James portray the role of Jim was the obvious choice, as he had already played the protagonist in our Co-Op Film Festival 2010 Finalist "The Piano" to great acclaim. As well as bearing a resemblance to Ben Whishaw's appearance as Q in "Skyfall", James shares a number of characteristics with his namesake in our film opening, such an devious personality and elongated chin. His additional position as potential composer will prove most interesting as he scores the motions of his own performance.

Zubin Parekh AS ZUBASU

The character of Zubasu was actually written with my friend, Zubin, in mind. As Zubin has himself acknowledged, his vocal capabilities are far outmatched by his physical ones. Thus we envisioned a role that would require a heavy physical presence, and so the role of Zubasu, a trained killer with a heart of stone, was born.

Richard Young AS YUNG

We needed one more actor and Richard seemed to be available, so we picked him. Jokes aside, his breathtaking performance as teenager coming to terms with his homosexuality, as well as his recent captivating audition as a pedophile proved worthy of a role in our film so we gave him the character of Yung, naming it after him. His larger build was also a deciding factor, making him appear both intimidating and humorous.
